NOVA Roleplay

Privacy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This page explains what NOVA Roleplay stores about you, why, and how to get rid of it. It covers novarpg.eu, the forum, and the game server.

What we store

DataWhere it comes fromWhy
Forum username, email address, password hashYou, when you registerTo run your account and let you log in
IP addressAutomatically, on every requestSpam and ban enforcement, and because the webserver logs it
Posts, threads and profile detailsYouThey are the forum
Avatar imageYou, if you upload oneShown on the forum and in game
In-game account name, playtime, kills, deaths, gang, job, wanted levelThe game serverShown on your profile and posts once you link your accounts
Your in-game nickname and its colourThe game server, while you are connectedShown next to your name on the forum

Your in-game money and bank balance are synced but are not shown publicly. Your password is never stored in a readable form, and we cannot tell you what it is.

What we do not do

Who else sees it

The site and forum run on hosting provided by ZAP-Hosting, who necessarily process the data as part of running the servers. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads. Nothing else leaves our servers.

How long we keep it

Account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Webserver logs rotate within a few weeks. Banned accounts keep enough information to make the ban enforceable.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ask through the contact page and say which account you mean. We will respond within 30 days.

Deleting your forum account removes your profile and unlinks your game account. Posts may remain with the author anonymised, since removing them would gut conversations other people took part in. Say if you want them removed too and we will look at it case by case.

Children

This is a GTA roleplay server. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep accounts for them.

Note: this is a plain-language policy written for a small game community, not legal advice. If NOVA grows, starts taking payments, or you are legally based in Germany and need an Impressum, have it reviewed properly.
